After much trawling of the internet it was discovered that the poster is for a performance at Royal Hall, Harrogate.
The poster shows part of name Stainless Stephen, however he may have only appeared there the once, for a week, the billed performance dates were 7-10th June 1939.
Stainless Stephen was a BBC comedian and top of the Bill in that performance at the Royal Hall.
This does not explain why these two photos were in the Manweb archive collection.
Third photo is another occasion. From StreetView buildings on opposite side of road are still the same.
